Tim Upton — Founder, President & Chief Executive Officer

Tim founded TITUS and leads the company as President & CEO, providing the overall vision for the company’s products and services around information protection best practices. He helped established early customer wins and the company's market leading position.

Prior to TITUS, Tim ran a successful consulting and integration company focused on IT Security and Infrastructure. He has an extensive background as a technology consultant in the security and large infrastructure spaces and as an entrepreneur with over 17 years of IT experience. His consulting background includes specialized skills in messaging, security, and Internet technologies and has led architecture and business discussions with US Veteran Affairs (250,000 users) and US AirForce (525,000 users) to solve information protection requirements.

Tim has been called upon to speak at numerous events around information protection best practices, including the Microsoft MBX sales kickoff and the Microsoft Transglobal Secure Collaboration Program (TSCP) panel where the largest Aerospace and Defence (A&D) contractors worldwide were in attendance.

Tim holds a Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) from St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia.

Charlie Pulfer – Founder & Vice President, Product Management

Charlie brings over 20 years of IT sales, marketing and product management experience to TITUS. His responsibilities include defining the product vision for TITUS products as well as all marketing activities.

Charlie previously held management positions in product management and business development at Entrust.net Inc, where he led the development of web certificate products as well as digital signature security solutions. Previous to Entrust, he spent seven years at Microsoft building successful customer and partner relationships. While at Microsoft, he was responsible for growing the Microsoft Certified Solutions Provider channel. Charlie started his career at IBM where he acted as a Systems Engineer and Consultant specializing in database and application development tools.

Charlie holds a Masters of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of British Columbia.

Stephane Charbonneau — Founder & Chief Technology Officer

Stephane Charbonneau serves as TITUS’ Chief Technology Officer. His background as an IT Security Architect helps bridge the gap between customer requirements and the product suites offered by TITUS.

Steph has gained significant experience over the past 15 years working with large international organizations in the public and private sector. He worked as senior architect at a major US financial institution and in several Canadian federal government departments. He has delivered specialized Entrust training courses to Fortune 500 enterprises around the world and had the opportunity to meet and work with many of the top public key infrastructure (PKI) and security specialists on the planet.

Steph graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Honours Degree in Computer Science.

Scott Morin – Vice President, Worldwide Sales

Scott Morin leads the team responsible for managing over 250 key customers within the TITUS portfolio, including such customers as NATO, UK Police Services, Pratt and Whitney and the US Air Force. Scott brings a 20 year track record of delivering successful IT security and compliance solutions for the Military, Government and Commercial customers.

Prior to joining TITUS, Scott was the Vice President of Worldwide Sales for TrialStat corporation and he has also held senior sales positions with General Electric, SoftChoice, Quest Software and Databeacon.

Scott holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Carleton University.

Blair Canavan – Vice President, Business Development

Blair joined TITUS in 2006, bringing 20 years of experience in working with clients to implement IT Infrastructure technology. He is dedicated to all business development activities including strategic partnerships and emerging market opportunities worldwide.

Previously, Blair was the VP of Sales at TITUS where he built the sales team, customer base, channel partners and business development initiatives. This resulted in triple digit sales success and over 125 customers worldwide. Blair served as VP of Sales, Marketing and Business Development at Chrysalis-ITS (acquired by SafeNet) and was Director of Business Development at AssetMetrix (acquired by Microsoft Corporation). He was also the first official employee of Symantec Canada, running sales and channel development.

Blair holds an Honours Co-op BA from the University of Waterloo and Wilfrid Laurier University.

Regi Roy – Vice President, Product Development

Regi brings over 15 years of experience delivering innovative software products ranging from consumer products and embedded systems to enterprise solutions. As Vice-President of Product Development, he provides leadership and direction for all research and development activities and is also responsible for customer support and professional services.

Prior to TITUS, Regi led the development of WordPerfect Suite and Ventura products at Corel Corporation introducing innovative features and adoption of emerging technologies. He also established an offshore development center for Corel to optimize costs. At Espial, he oversaw the embedded browser group, led several international customer engagements while significantly improving performance and capabilities of the platform. Before moving to Canada, Regi founded and operated Singular Solutions, a software company focused on the medical imaging market. He started his career at Infosys, the premier software services company in India, managing a development team for AT&T.

Regi holds a Computer Science and Engineering Degree from Kerala University, India and MBAs from Cornell University, United States and Queens University, Canada.

A. Bonnie Wright, C.A., PAdm — Chief Financial Officer

Bonnie Wright serves as TITUS' Chief Financial Officer (CFO). As a Virtual CFO®, Bonnie provides TITUS with a full range of CFO services including financial strategy, reporting and planning.

Bonnie has close to 30 years experience in senior financial positions in technology companies in the Ottawa area, including time spent with large company spin-offs, such as TMI Communications; public company situations, such as BIO LOGICALS; and green-field start-ups, such as Atsana Semiconductor. Bonnie also brings several years experience as a venture capitalist with Working Ventures Canadian Fund.

Bonnie is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Secretary. She spent the first seven years of her accounting career at Clarkson Gordon (now Ernst & Young).

Mitch Robinson – Chief Operating Officer

With over 20 years of professional experience in enterprise software, corporate strategy, M&A, emerging markets and business development, Mitch serves as our Chief Operating Officer, responsible for efficient and effective execution across the business and creating an operational platform for continued growth.

Most recently, Mitch was at IBM Corp where he was Director of the Enterprise Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) software business segment, driving growth and profitability in a new and emerging business area for IBM Software Group. Prior to his tenure at IBM, he spent 8 years at Cognos Inc. where, as Vice President of Strategic Investment, he was responsible for all M&A and Investment activities and played a key role in Cognos’ $5B sale to IBM in 2008.

Mitch has a Bachelor of Science in Math and Computer Science from St. Francis Xavier University, and is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario.
