Entrust Platform Courseware Offering - Secure Desktop Deployment with Windows 2000/XP and Entrust
Course Description
This course is designed for network administrators and security
analysts who must integrate the Entrust PKI into a Microsoft Windows
2000 Server network environment. This course focuses on how to best
leverage Entrust PKI functionality into the Windows 2000 Server
security framework and Window XP Desktop. The course brings the
confusing complexity of integrating these two infrastructures together
into focus by starting with the foundation security services, such as
Active Directory, Group Policies, and Entrust certificate solutions,
and advancing in a logical progression to integration strategies for
Windows 2000 and Windows XP features such as Active Directory, Single
Sign-On, File System security options, Secure Messaging and VPN.
Students learn the differences in the security models between Microsoft
and Entrust solutions and work hands-on with both environments.
