TITUS Message Classification provides compliance support for government email marking requirements
Ottawa, ON – September 11, 2012 — TITUS, the leading provider of enterprise data security and governance solutions, is continuing to assist our Australian government customers by supporting the latest version of the Australian Government’s Email Protective Marking Stardard (EPMS). TITUS Australian Government customers can be assured that TITUS Message Classification for Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Web App (OWA) will support their requirements to comply with EPMS Version 2012.3.
The Australian Government’s EPMS mandates the use and format of protective markings for all email messages exchanged within and between government agencies. In support of the recent release of EPMS V2012.3, TITUS is providing its Australian customers full support for the new standard, while also continuing to maintain support for previous versions. With over 30 Australian federal agencies using TITUS solutions, including the Australian Tax Office, Australian Federal Police and the Australia Department of Defence, TITUS is committed to ensuring full support of the EPMS standard.
One of the strengths of TITUS Message Classification is the ability for customers to easily customize classifications and markings for compliance according to their requirements. To assist Australian government customers with their need to comply with EPMS, TITUS has produced and included recommended product configurations. These configurations not only ensure support for the new standard, but they also provide customers with interoperability with the previous versions of the standard. This interoperability helps minimize disruption when migrating from older versions to the latest version of the standard. Guided classification support and tooltips help end users fully understand and get up and running with the new security classifications.
