Rights Management Solutions
In order to fully protect your digital assets, it is not enough to
implement strong authentication and authorization solutions. In order to
protect digital information once it leaves your databases or document repositories
you need to implement a persistent security mechanism.
Information rights management solutions focus on the protection of
sensitive information, such as Web content, documents, and e-mail,
through the creation and enforcement of persistent policies that live
with the information—no matter where it goes.
Using the Microsoft Windows Rights Management Services (RMS) for Windows
Server 2003 we help customers apply persistent enforcement of policies
which protect information stored in applications such as Microsoft Word,
Excel, Outlook and other Rights Management enabled applications.

 Consulting Services
We provide consulting services for customers needing help planning
for rights management, or installing and configuring the
Microsoft Windows Rights Management Services. Whether you want to use RMS for
protecting digital assets within your company, or to help protect
documents and other digital assets leaving your enterprise going to
partners and customers, we can help determine the correct architecture
and policies to meet your objectives.
RMS Enabled Software
Titus Labs Message Classification and
MessageRights are powerful classification software for Outlook that allow customers to manage the classification,
distribution and retention of valuable corporate email. Designed for large enterprises,
Message Classification and MessageRights allow users to insert a label related to
email sensitivity, email retention, and email distribution. Integrated with
Microsoft's Windows Rights Management Services, the software allows administrators to associate classification
levels with enforceable rights management policy. These policies can
restrict the viewing, distribution, printing or copying of email. See

Training
Titus offers a comprehensive three day hands on
training course for the Microsoft Windows Rights Management Services.
At Titus, we pride ourselves on being a leader in the Rights
Management space. The following is a summary of our recent RMS activities:
Large US Government/Healthcare oriented department (250,000 users) -
Chicago/Washington/New York
- Assisted Microsoft in closing the largest RMS deal in the world.
- Completed a two day on-site Architecture & Design Session (ADS) to
remove deployment roadblocks with key decision makers. This activity
lead to a production Pilot.
- Completed the Pilot design and deployment into the production
environment including server configuration, client deployment, user
training, backup strategy, etc. The Pilot lead to procurement.
- Designed the full scale deployment; working closely with the product
team in Redmond for design issues facing customers of this size. Titus
had ongoing participation in the beta version to provide product
feedback.
- Full deployment started in 2006, with completion scheduled for 2007/2008.
Wireless Provider (50,000 users) -
NJ, USA
- According to our client, Titus' two day ADS session "accomplished more in 2 days than in the past 9 months"
- which lead to a pilot.
- Titus then completed the production pilot including documentation, support,
server and client deployment.
Law Firm (1,000 users) -
Boston, USA
- Completed the production deployment and design of an RMS
solution in one (1) week.
Voice Provider (2,000 users) -
Miami, FL - 15 days
- Designed and deployed RMS for internal confidential information management.
Canadian Government Research Organization
- Our client wanted to investigate increased security and policy enforcement
solutions.
- Titus integrated RMS and other solutions (smart cards, PKI, etc.)
to create a
secure environment.
Coalition Warrior Interop Demonstration (CWID)
- Designed and deployed RMS through 5 countries as
part of a series of interop demonstration
exercises.
- Acted as global architects/designers for the successful project.
Secure Information Sharing Alliance (SISA)
- Formed an Industry Partnership with Microsoft, Cisco, EMS, Decru and Titus.
- Acted as the architects to design and deploy an advanced secure environment for
multi-national war efforts leveraging state of the art COTS software -
including software from Titus Labs.
- Solution currently being demonstrated monthly
to top US/Canadian military personnel at Cisco facility in Washington, DC.
IM/IA Demonstration (Microsoft, US Air force)
- Designed an Information Management/Information Assurance solution for secure
document management using a Microsoft platform, including RMS, Titus Labs
products, and Meridio.
RMS Proof-of Concept (US Military)
- Assembled a Virtual Machine environment leveraging
the Microsoft Platform (AD,
Exchange, Sharepoint, LCS, RMS, SQL).
- Identified the top ten "RMS deployment
blockers" and demonstrated technical solutions in an environment similar to
the end customer's.
Externally Facing RMS Solution
- Our customer had valuable content (magazine subscription) that was to be
consumed by subscribers but wanted to control the distribution of the
content.
- Designed and deployed a prototype for externally facing users.
