Secure Desktop Deployment with Windows 2000/XP and EntrustTM

This four day hands-on course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to deploy Entrust enabled security with Microsoft desktop functionality such as file system security, single sign-on, smart cards, VPN setup, and other security features. In addition, we focus on how to best leverage Entrust PKI functionality into the Windows 2000 Server security framework. The course reduces the complexity of integrating these two infrastructures by starting with the foundation security services such as Active Directory, Group Policies, and Entrust certificate solutions, and advancing in a logical progression to integration strategies for Windows 2000 features such as Active Directory, smart cards, Encrypting File System, and VPN. The course finishes by providing an update on new security features in the upcoming Windows .NET Server and how this will affect integration with Entrust.
