Happy Holidays from TITUS!

I really enjoy year end, and not just for the reason you might think. Of course there are the parties, the gifts, the food, and the time spent with friends and family. But I hold a relatively unique position as a CEO and founder of a company, so I have the opportunity to reflect upon my business. And, I like what I see.

Business has been excellent, with another year of record-breaking growth. We significantly enhanced our software and added to our product suite with TITUS Illuminate and classification for Mac. We have also expanded our presence around the world, with sales and support representatives coming on board in Europe and Asia to help us provide better service to our customers. While these accomplishments are very satisfying, these are not the reason that I enjoy year end so much. I enjoy the “we”.

It is the hard work of my awesome team – their insights, their determination, their competitive spirit, their professionalism, and their playfulness that generate the positive business metrics any CEO would be proud to see. I take the most enjoyment from the diverse collection of people who have joined TITUS to build a community. They are cyclists and joggers, they are cooks and artists, they are sports fans and gamers, and they are generous and kind. This past year the TITUS team has:

  • Spent a day cleaning and rehabilitating a local park
  • Competed in a dragon boat race to raise money for the Tim Horton’s Children’s Foundation
  • Raised money for our local shelter, Cornerstone Housing for Women
  • Grown mustaches and beards to raise money for cancer research
  • Donated and wrapped gifts for the Children’s Aid Society
  • Donated toys to the annual Christmas Toy Mountain

Just as the hard work of my team helps to grow TITUS, I would like to thank and recognize their efforts in sharing our good fortune with others in our community who can use some extra help.

As we head into 2017, I hope that you too find yourself surrounded by as great a collection of people as I am.

Happy New Year!
