Titus moves to 100 percent channel sales model with launch of new partner program

Ottawa, ON – Titus, a leading provider of data protection solutions and a Blackstone portfolio company, today announced that it is moving to a completely channel-driven sales model with the launch of its new partner program. Aimed at creating an easier path to revenue and education for partners, the new program enables Titus to move to a one hundred percent channel-driven sales model in North America with a view to expanding the program globally by the end of 2019. The program is ideal for security-focused partners selling cloud access security brokers (CASBs), data loss prevention (DLP) solutions and next-generation firewalls (NGFWs).

Out-of-the-gate enablement and incentives offer easier path to revenue

One of the biggest challenges for channel partners is getting up-to-speed on vendor offerings swiftly so they’re able to quickly provide value to their customers and grow their business. With that in mind, Titus offers self-paced certification programs that enable partners to become certified in as little as an hour. The lightweight, high-value education educates sales professionals and systems consultants on Titus differentiators including machine learning and data identification. The certification program currently includes eight sales training modules with an additional two more technical modules for systems consultants.

In addition to the enablement offerings available to all partners, Titus’ Elite partners receive significant discounts and an industry-leading thirty points of protection for registered opportunities as part of their membership in the highest tier of the program. These incentives enable partners to enjoy a quicker path to revenue, with the average Titus partner making more than twenty points of margin.

Titus solutions broaden partner revenue opportunities

In addition to selling Titus’ award-winning data protection solutions, Titus partners can expect to sell 3-5x as much in software and services. This makes it easier for partners to sell a full stack of security and data protection solutions including data loss prevention (DLP) software, cloud access security brokers (CASBs), encryption, rights management and next-generation firewalls (NGFWs). With Titus’ broad ecosystem, partners can then position themselves as trusted security advisers with the ability to guide customers in selecting the right data protection and security solutions for their business.
