Titus to present on Deploying Effective Data Security and Innovating for a Frictionless Future at ISF World Congress 2019
Ottawa, ON – Titus, the expert in data classification and a Blackstone portfolio company, today announced its Senior Vice President of Strategy, Mark Cassetta, will present alongside seasoned security expert Joel Greenwell at ISF World Congress 2019 on Monday, October 28, 2019.
Who: Mark Cassetta is the senior vice president of strategy for Titus, overseeing the company’s product lifecycle from concept to implementation and customer success. Since joining Titus in 2012, Mark has held positions in marketing, business development and corporate strategy. He has over a decade of experience across application development and enterprise software, managing projects within large-scale technology transformations.
What: Data classification was once thought of as a ‘nice to have’ addition to perimeter defenses like data loss prevention (DLP); now it is accepted to be foundational to a complete data security strategy. This is evidenced by the growing number of data classification solutions in the market today compared to even three years ago. The proliferation of solutions is a double-edged sword; while it is encouraging that organizations are offered more choice when it comes to data classification solutions, the unfortunate fact is many of these solutions are built as one-size-fits-all products that do not offer a protection scheme tailored to the needs of the organization.
Joel Greenwell, seasoned Enterprise Global HoF CISO and consultant will discuss challenges around data protection today while offering real-world advice on how to build a robust data protection plan that goes beyond mere best practices. He will be joined by Mark Cassetta, SVP – Strategy for Titus, who will separate buzz from reality and discuss how innovation helps reduce friction surrounding data classification, while creating even stronger data protection solutions.
Where: ISF World Congress, Dublin, Ireland
