Learn more about what led to the creation of the solution, what types of organizations can benefit from it, and how it fits into Titus’ data protection vision for the future.

How it works — and how smart it is!

Titus Accelerator for Privacy uses Deep Learning, a form of machine learning, to categorize data.

It scans through content focusing on PII, using both words and the context surrounding those words to reduce false positives, and augment organizational privacy programs and ecosystems.

When sending an email that contains PII, Titus Accelerator for Privacy warns the user before the email is sent.

And depending on company policy, users can be presented with a range of options.

They can send it as is, send it with encryption, classify the email as confidential (if the company has a classification solution in place), or remove PII before sending.

Answers to common questions

What if my organization doesn’t have a privacy program in place?

Titus Accelerator for Privacy is a perfect fit for organizations that understand personal data protection requirements but have yet to deploy a full-fledged security program.

Titus Accelerator for Privacy can be quickly deployed as a stand-alone solution that limits personal data exposure.

How much effort from an organizational perspective does this take?

The goal with Titus Accelerator for Privacy is to accelerate the time-to-value compared to a standard classification deployment.

Titus Accelerator for Privacy provides customers with out-of-the-box configurations that are designed with real-world production deployments in mind. Titus consultants are also available to answer sizing and scaling questions to ensure an easy and fast deployment.

What if I already have a privacy and security program in place?

The rich metadata Titus embeds in files and emails can be leveraged by all the components of your existing security ecosystem. This interconnected system of best-of-breed technologies allows you to create a more robust, seamless, data protection solution.

What if my organization isn’t comfortable with fully automating our privacy processes?

Every organization has unique data privacy protection needs, but most organizations face a common set of privacy protection challenges – primarily workflow bottlenecks and end user knowledge.

Automation can allow organizations to guide the classification or categorization of data to increase efficiency, create a simplified experience and educate the end user all at once. Titus still allows you the option to be able to guide your end user without fully automating the process.
